The graduate of the BA Animation Gareth Herboso managed to build a brilliant career: he worked on such blockbusters as the Dark knight: the legend, Iron Man 2, Les Miserables and many others.
Gareth's career began in London - "Double Negative", which received the award "Oscar" for best visual effects in a feature film. Today, a young man works at a design company in Nottinghamshire. Gareth believes that it is in the University of De Montfort, he received the necessary knowledge to start a career of your dreams. In an interview with Gareth commented on her success: "I can confidently say that without the training at De Montfort University, I would not be able to build a career."
According to graduate DMU teachers understood the strengths of Gareth, saw possibilities that he didn't know and made every effort for the student to take advantage of such opportunities. "Thanks to the support of the teachers, I met with the head of 3D in "Double Negative", so I took a job within six months after graduation, thanks to which I managed as many as 6 years working on feature films in London."
During the work in the company Gareth participated in the creation of many films, including the head of the special effects in "Hercules" (2014), technical Director at "the First avenger" (2011) and the lead technical Director for creation of textures of the fabrics in "the Dark knight: the legend" (2012).
"As for DMU, I liked the combination of different approaches to learning. I got a lot of skills, from model creation to animation, lighting, rendering and composite the shots. In addition, the University has given me the needed help and support and opened the way to a dream career," said Gareth.
