Department of computer science University offers 2 scholarships to International Excellence, with a size of £ 5,000, for foreign students to be enrolled this year in graduate school.

Who can participate in the competition?

In the competition for scholarships can take part all foreign applicants independently paying for their education and with the proposal of the University for admission to any of the master programs of the faculty in September 2016.

What is the deadline for the scholarship?

Applicants are encouraged to apply for admission to the University as early as possible so that after receiving the offer of the University on enrollment, time to complete and submit the application for scholarships before the deadline of 31 may 2016.

On what basis will the decision be made on the allocation of scholarships?

The decision on the allocation of scholarships will be made on the basis of the following information:

Your academic results (qualifications obtained by students outside the UK will be equated to the British equivalent of using NARIC).
You must justify your choice of specific educational programs.
You have to explain your decision to study at York University and what attracted you to the city where the institution is located.
You must demonstrate that you have plans for a future career and to reflect the previous academic or practical achievements.

Students who receive scholarships will be notified by email before 30 June 2016. After that, they will have a period of 2 weeks to confirm their consent to participate.

Scholarships are provided in the form of a discount from the cost of the training program at the University.
