Faculty of chemistry and electronics , University of York, a leading University in the UK announced new scholarships for students of undergraduate and graduate programs for the 2016-2017 academic year.
This is one of the strongest faculties, which is consistently ranked in the top five of the British departments of chemistry in several prestigious rankings.
Scholarship programs of the first higher education:
The Department has announced 10 scholarships "Chemistry Excellence" in size at £ 2,000 for international students enrolling on the faculty in September 2016. To apply for participation in competition the applicant should be prepared to pay the tuition in full and have a ball at IELTS level 6.5. The scholarship is awarded to students who have outstanding academic ability.
Students who demonstrated outstanding results during training, the faculty also awards several types of awards. Also there is a minimum of 14 vacation scholarships (vacation bursaries) to students studying on the first or second courses. Release the scholarship allows students in the summer to participate in research programs of the faculty for a period of 6-8 weeks.
Scholarship of master degree programs:
The Department announced the decision to allocate one to the foreign student scholarship Bridge scholarship with the size of 5000 pounds. Applicants for the scholarship are students enrolling in September 2016 for the program MSc Green Chemistry and Sustainable Industrial Technology.
Scholarships postgraduate programs:
Foreign students enrolling on a research programme in October 2016 for of the PhD, MPhil or MS by Research, can apply for a Wild Fund scholarship Scholarship size up to 7000 pounds per year. Applications for the competition are served until 17:00 GMT 05 Feb 2016 applicants will be interviewed via video or telephone until February 19, 2016. The winners will be announced by March 4, 2016.
Declared scholarships for graduate students enrolling in September 2016 for all training programs (taught programs) of the faculty. The bursary of up to £ 5,000. In addition, the Department allocates 10 scholarships each with a size of £ 2,500 for master's degree students enrolling in September 2016 for the program of MSc in Engineering Management. Applications for both scholarships should be submitted up to 30 April 2016, and the results of the allocation will be known in mid-July 2016.
