University of Sussex, located in the resort town of Brighton on the coast, is one of the Champions among all British universities to improve their positions in the prestigious ranking by The Complete University Guide 2016.
Sussex has risen to a record 17 positions and is now ranked 21st out of 126 universities.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Clare Mackie, said: "We entered the top 25 out of 126 universities and plan to go even higher next year."
The 2016 rating year The Complete University Guide assesses universities on 10 indicators such as: student satisfaction with training, research quality, admission requirements and employment of graduates.
Professor Mackie said: "We are proud that managed to rise by 17 positions and take 21 place, mainly thanks to improvements in indicators on employment of graduates and infrastructure costs for students."
75% of all graduates of bachelor programs at the University of Sussex to find work or continue study within the first 6 months after graduation.
An increasing number of University students spend one year abusadas in foreign universities-partners, and completing annual and summer internships in companies, which enables them to develop practical skills and gain professional experience.
Professor Mackey also thanked the teaching staff for their excellent work and the students for their diligent learning and achievement.
