A biochemist from the University of York during the month won his second award. The Royal society has announced the award of the medal to Gabor working in the York structural biology laboratory of the faculty of chemistry of Professor Gideon Davies. The basis for the award was his research of three-dimensional structures and reaction coordinates of enzymes, which changed modern biochemistry. Less than a month ago the Professor received tremendous acceptance among the scientific community. He was chosen fellow of the Royal society.
