Students at University College London, University of London has won the international competition for the developments in the field of synthetic biology, held among the undergraduate students. In a difficult competition with teams out of 128 universities in the world, they won the Gold medal.
The competition, called the International Genetically Engineered Machines (iGEM), held annually at the Massachusetts Institute of technology. This is the second victory of the representatives of University College London.
