On the educational portal "the guardian" published a list of the most employed academic disciplines, as well as University rankings for graduate employment rate after 6 months. Data provided by the Statistical Agency for higher education (HESA), based on the research of employment of graduates in the 2008/09 academic year. The top five specialties with the largest number of employed young professionals as follows:

  • medicine, dentistry and veterinary science,
  • subjects allied to medicine,
  • biological Sciences,
  • agriculture and related field
  • natural science.
