University of Essex entered the elite British universities the level of students ' satisfaction

In the prestigious in the world of education the review of higher education institutions in the UK The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016 the University of Essex awarded for outstanding achievements in formation of students ' positive learning experiences.

According to the survey, which assesses the best British universities, Essex was in the TOP 10 in the level of student satisfaction with the University in the TOP 20 for quality of teaching and in the TOP 25 - scale research.

Overall Essex took the 35-th position, and the review noted:

"The University of Essex is included in the top ten fastest growing universities in the UK. The high positive rating of the University, delivered by students in the National student survey, conducted in the framework of the review The Times and the Sunday Times, has allowed Essex to climb 2 places in comparison with last year and enter the TOP-10 at the level of student satisfaction with the University. Only 7 schools in the country score higher on this criterion.

In addition, Essex has risen to 25th place on the scale of research activity as a research center of world level".

In the ranking of the level of teaching of different disciplines, the University is in the top ten in the direction of "Politics" and in the TOP 20 in subjects such as: Economics; art history; philosophy; drama, dance and movement.

Vice-rector of the Essex education Professor Aletta Norval says:

"Indicators of the University in the recent review of The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016 show the effectiveness of our efforts to provide the highest standards of education and research activities.

We have serious plans for the future development of the University. Our new student center and additional library building with a total cost of 26 million pounds, as well as a recently opened business school, Essex, in which we have invested 22 million pounds, will allow students to receive additional opportunities in the study process".
