Mrs. Kay Stables, Professor at the design faculty of the College of Goldsmiths, University of London, received from the Association of design and technology (D&T Association) award for "Outstanding contribution to the teaching of design and technology". Awards, marking the achievements of teachers of design and technology, are awarded annually at the conference of the Association. Members of the D&T Association put forward nominees for awards recognizing six different categories of their uniqueness in learning design and technology, and the winners are selected by the Board of Trustees of the Association.
