Two Cardiff Professors have been recognised for their significant contributions to social science and its promotion - cementing the University’s place as one of the top institutions in the UK to have Academicians of the Academy of Social Sciences amongst its staff.
Professor David Boucher, Head of the School of European Studies and Professor Rick Delbridge, Associate Dean for Research in Cardiff Business School were conferred the Award of Academician of the Academy of Social Sciences (AcSS) in the most recent round of nominations. Professor Boucher has written extensively about social and political theory and is internationally recognised for his work in this area. Professor Delbridge has extensive experience of researching and teaching various aspects of organization and management theory and has made a considerable contribution to the Business and Management academic community, particularly in the UK.
