04.03.10. One in six of the postgraduate students studied in a private school

Charity Sutton Trust has published a study prepared on its instructions by the scientists of the Centre for economic performance at the London school of Economics (London School of Economics and Political Science). Pupils of private secondary schools in the UK are more likely to go to graduate than students in public schools. Despite the fact that the number of students in private schools is only 7% of the total number of pupils in the UK, they were taught every sixth (17%) students admitted to the master's degree. The proportion of graduates of private schools among bachelors is equal to 14%.
