Holding a qualification issued by a foreign High School or University, you need to ask for "acknowledgement of foreign qualification".

• If you are an EU citizen with a foreign Degree you must hand in your documents to International students and translations office from the end of July to the end of August (deadlines for Master's programs may vary).
• If you are a non-EU student and you do not live in Italy, you can enrol according to a specific number of available places for foreigners fixed by the Faculties each year for each Degree course. You must submit the application for early enrollment to the Italian Embassy (or Italian General Consulate) in your Country, usually by the end of May.

The Embassy will send your application form with all required documents to the University of Turin that will send back to the Embassy an acceptance letter, which will be sent to you with the study VISA, which is necessary to come in Italy. Foreign students living abroad may be required to take an Italian language and general culture test (mandatory for three-year and two-year degrees - "lauree triennali" and "specialistiche" - and usually held in September), as well as an admission exam (if required by the degree course selected).
