We have the same minimum entry requirements for most of our taught and research programmes. Here we explain those requirements and the range of assistance available to help you meet them.

Some courses may have additional entry requirements, so please check the specific course you are interested in before submitting your application. If you are an international student you may need to provide evidence of your English language proficiency when you receive an offer to study with us.

How to apply

The University of Applied Sciences Europe welcomes applications from students from all over the world. Here we explain how to complete your application and the information, advice and guidance available to assist you. You can apply online for most of our courses.


There is strong competition for places on our programmes and, although there are no set application deadlines, we recommend that you apply as early as possible to secure your place. This is important if you also want to apply for on-campus accommodation or need to apply for a visa to study in the Germany. These processes will take additional time after your course offer has been made.

To be in Berlin means to be where the action is – always able to benefit from the best and be inspired to design something new. The campus lies right at the heart of the multicultural metropolis, in the immediate vicinity of Potsdamer Platz. Thanks to modern digital technology, students from different cultural institutions can cooperate across the borders. Facilities: spaces for creative and entrepreneurial projects, for example a founders’ workshop and exhibition area, are available to students on our campus. 

Hamburg

The University of Applied Sciences Europe campus in Hamburg is in the middle of Altona’s creative scene and just a few jumps away from the Elbe’s riverside beach. The striking historical building boasts cutting-edge technology and is the gateway to the Hanse city’s wide world of agencies and publishing houses. The campus is conveniently located directly at Altona’s main train station, which is easy to reach by bus, city train, regional train, long-distance train, car train, or bicycle. Hamburg is home to many international network agencies, renowned publishing houses, and big-name creative institutes. What’s more, Hamburg offers lots of water, green landscapes, and culture to ensure you can enjoy your leisure-time activities to the fullest.

Iserlohn

Iserlohn always has a surprise in store: this city of luscious green landscapes regularly receives top scores for quality of life and living. In combination with high purchasing power and creativity, the Rhine Ruhr region boasts a wide spectrum of activities for those interested in art and creativity. The main university building offers various sun decks for creative talks; the spacious environment supports the relaxed studying atmosphere. The close-knit campus not only gives you a family-like atmosphere for studying, it also stands for individual support by the university team and professors.
