In the past five years, the University has invested more than $134 million in new campus buildings and renovations. In the last year Seton Hall launched a new School of Medicine as well as a new College of Communication and the Arts.

With an acceptance rate of about 76%, Seton Hall University is relatively easy to get in. U.S. News National University Rankings 2016 placed SHU the 118th. Washington Monthly National Universities Rankings 2016 ranked it the 179th.
