Overview

Founded in 1865 by the businessman and railroad pioneer Asa Packer, Lehigh University is a private research university located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. With almost 7,000 students and more than 2,300 degree programs offered, Lehigh describes itself as an internationally recognized research university with the atmosphere of a small college.
