Review the admissions criteria

Before applying, make sure you can meet all the admissions criteria:

  • A completed Bachelor’s degree (worth a minimum of 180 ECTS credits)*
  • English language proficiency
  • Programme-specific requirements

* If you are in your final year of undergraduate education, you can also apply and receive a conditional offer.

Current application dates

  • Round 0: 29 October 2018 – 10 December 2018 (EMINE, CFAFE, RENE)
  • Round 1: 11 December 2018 – 24 February 2019 (all programmes)
  • Round 2: 25 February 2019 – 22 April 2019 (EMINE, Energy Transition, SENSE, Energy for Smart Cities, ENTECH, SELECT)

How to apply

1. Prepare the required documents

You will need to upload the following documents as pdf files with your application:

  • A copy of your Bachelor’s degree certificate
  • A copy of your transcript of records
  • Proof of English proficiency
  • Your CV or resume
  • A copy of your passport
  • Where required, a motivation letter explaining why you wish to apply to the programme

2. Fill in the online application form

You will need to answer questions related to:

  • Your personal details
  • Your preferred study options (If you wish to apply to two programmes, you can give your first and second preference)
  • Your preferred first-year study location (where applicable)
  • Your educational background
  • Your English proficiency
  • Your reasons for applying and your experience of innovation and entrepreneurship

3. After application

You application will be processed as follows:

  • We check your application and your documents to see whether you meet our academic and language eligibility standards
  • The evaluation committee for each Master’s programme checks your eligibility against their specific admission requirements
  • The programme evaluation committees rank the selected applicants to their programme
  • Top-ranked applicants may be called for an online interview or test
  • All applicants are informed on the outcome of the selection process

4. For accepted students

Congratulations! Once you have been accepted on your chosen programme,  you will need to:

  • Reply to the offer within a week of receiving your letter
  • Send officially certified copies of the required documents
  • Find more information about your first-year university and city
  • Ensure you have the financial resources to cover your participation fees and living costs
