All universities in the InnoEnergy Master’s School are familiar with hosting international students. Most have housing available for international students and will be able to support you in your search for accommodation.
The types and prices of accommodation differ for each university, as do application procedures.
More information is available on each university’s website. You can find the useful links at our overview of partner universities.
Our goal is to connect new businesses with markets, innovators with enablers, and talented graduates with the organisations looking for their unique skills. All our programmes encourage you to focus on your career and your future from your first day at the Master’s School.
Our programmes offer technical, business and innovation content, hands-on practical work, real-world challenges, and a multi-cultural environment. To help your bring these skills and insights together, the InnoEnergy Career Centre and InnoEnergy CommUnity platform help you maximise your potential and secure the future you want.
This programme helps you understand how you can make a positive impact on the organisations and teams you go on to work with, as well as the energy sector as a whole.
Lasting 18 months, the game-changing impact programme helps you to:
During the programme, you will receive individual coaching sessions and continuous feedback on your progress. You get to work on team exercises and real-life examples, and meet business experts. The programme is designed to add depth, context and practical skills to your technical work, enhance your understanding of industry requirements, and boost your CV with highly prized, in-demand skills.
The programme is underpinned by the GC Index® – the first ever assessment tool to identify potential high flyers, and the contributions that each individual can make. The GC Index gives you a clear focus to help you maximise your contribution to the world of work.
Students work in groups, and spend a day developing their proposed strategy. They present their ideas and strategies and take questions from the audience, before their business mentors decide on a winning proposal.
The InnoEnergy Career Centre
The InnoEnergy Career Centre offers a variety of dedicated careers services, which include:
We organise various workshops throughout the year. Typical topics include: ‘How to Find Your Way to Change the Game’ and ‘How to Turn Your Experience of Study Abroad into Career Success’. These workshops and webinars are for both first and second year students at the InnoEnergy Master’s School and for all InnoEnergy PhD School candidates.
One-on-one sessions with a career coach to help you maximise your chances of interview success. During the session, coaches help you prepare for a face-to-face or online interview, by looking at your presentation style and body language and helping you tackle difficult interview questions. They also discuss how best to include and present your InnoEnergy education and the skills you have acquired to a prospective employer – and demonstrate that you are a candidate who will make a difference to their organisation.
Through the careers centre, industry experts and recent graduates are available to answer your career-related questions. Industry career advisers’ time is naturally limited, so InnoEnergy emails students about possible time slots.
Our graduates can be found working in corporate utilities, small and medium-sized companies, in research and development, pursuing a doctorate or starting their own business.
With so many choices, finding the right career is about more than matching skills and job descriptions. It’s about finding the right kind of organisation for your individual strengths, attributes and qualities. Career coaching at the InnoEnergy Career Centre helps you understand more about what you want from a career, where you want to start and where you want to end up, the type and size of organisation that interests you most, the kinds of environment in which you typically flourish – and the contribution you can make.
There is no universal standard for a CV or résumé. Different countries tend to have different requirements for layout, personal information, photos and supporting application letters.
Throughout the year, the InnoEnergy Career Centre runs CV checking sessions to help you create a CV that is appropriate for the company, the role and the country you are applying in. The goal is to help you show how you can contribute to an organisation and attract attention for all the right reasons.
The activities of InnoEnergy are managed through our regional offices located in Benelux, Central Europe, France, Germany, Iberia and Scandinavia. At the same time, we build upon our extensive network of partners representing top rank industries, research centres and universities across Europe.
