Fudan University

Fudan University has four campuses, all in Shanghai. Handan campus, the main campus of Fudan, is located in Yangpu District, Shanghai. It contains the majority of the schools and departments. Freshman undergraduates live in this campus. Handan campus consists of four sub-campuses, namely the headquarters campus, the south campus, the north campus, and the east campus.

Fudan University strongly values expanding opportunities for students to learn outside of the classroom. The school promotes building a campus culture with a rich history and distinctive Fudan characteristics, which reflects the features of our times, as required in order to become a world-class university with first-class talent development. This plays the culture’s educational function of expanding students’ minds and broad ideals, shaping their integrity, determination, and character, bringing about academic advancement, and a sound mind and body.

Outside the classroom, there are currently 310 student clubs of all types, including 260 undergraduate organizations, 30 graduate student clubs, and 19 international student clubs. Undergraduate student clubs are further divided into 18 categories: skill enhancement, media, electrical, hobbies, management, scientific research, humanities, politics, music, dance, theater, ball sports, chess and card games, fitness, outdoor activities, public welfare, tutoring, international exchange. Graduate student clubs are divided into three categories: academic, practical, and culture and entertainment.

The student clubs have already become the driver of campus culture and the trendsetter of the university. They hold on average more than 2000 events every semester.

Fudan University has an "International Student's Dormitory", a building reserved as living quarters for any students from countries other than China studying either degree or non-degree programs. 

Fudan Foreign Student Dormitory is constituted by the Main building and the Supplementary building. 

• The main building located northwest of Fudan campus is a 23-store building with totally 728 rooms, 582 single rooms and 146 double rooms respectively. There are 4 elevators in the main building (in the mid of north and south lobbies). The double rooms are from 1st floor to 14th floor.
• The supplementary building is consisted of 9 identical units and the booking serial number in the system. Students who choose to move on the units of the supplementary building need to take the stairs since there are no elevators installed.

The lowest price for students living in on-campus international dormitory is 30 RMB/Day.

The Career Development Office of Fudan University is committed to providing quality services and abundant resources to students, enabling them to realize their career vision, enhance their career competitiveness and improve their job-seeking skills. Meanwhile, CDO strives to provide multiple recruiting approaches to employers to make their employment as efficient as possible. CDO also employs various methods to foster the exchanges and communications between students and companies.
