Berkeley College has campuses in New York, New Jersey, and online instructed courses. While each Berkeley location has the facilities and resources to provide students with an outstanding career-focused education, each has its own “personality.”
Whether choosing to study in the city, the suburbs or online, each student has access to everything needed. Many students choose to take classes at more than one campus or combine on-site and online classes to complete their degree.

A variety of support is provided for the students first coming at Berkeley College. Students may also participate in a range of activities that promote personal growth and development.
Berkeley offers many activities that allow students to socialize with other students in order to develop friendships and expand professional networks. Some activities have included cultural dinners, an international student cruise, a United Nations tour, a Wall Street tour, and a fashion museum tour.
Some of the various organizations available to Berkeley students include the International Club, United Nations Club, Desi Club, Hispanic Club, Turkish Club, Chinese Student Association, Korean Student Association, and Japanese Student Association.
Athletics and recreation play an important part in college life. At Berkeley College, men’s and women’s intercollegiate teams compete in soccer (football), basketball, tennis, and cross-country. Students may also participate in club teams and intramural play in other sports. Berkeley College is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association and the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
In the New York City a variety of off-site housing options are available. A housing list may be obtained through the International Department upon request.
Concerning Berkeley’s location in White Plains, it has multiple housing options just a short walk from campus. Studios with kitchenettes and one- or two-bedroom apartments with full kitchens and living rooms are available.
Each apartment is furnished, air-conditioned, and wired for voice, data, and cable television. The fee is $4,500 per semester. Students are responsible for preparing their food.
A major benefit of a Berkeley College education is the practical experience students gain through program-related, faculty-monitored internships, practicums, or job-related assignments, which are part of the curriculum in all programs of study. A dedicated team of Career Services specialists works closely with students throughout their time at Berkeley—and beyond.
Career specialists work with students on an individual basis to identify internships that are best suited to students’ majors, interests, and abilities. This experience has led to many opportunities after graduation.
