The degree develops skills in the application of information technology, computer-based interactive multimedia including practical creative skills and a theoretical understanding of the complex interplay of social, economic, psychological, technical and aesthetic issues which underpin the subject; students are encouraged to develop the ability to access and digest information from a range of sources, to use data and make sound technical decisions independently; they are also encouraged to develop verbal and written communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
