This course, students place great emphasis on the development of knowledge and skills through reflective practice; by analysing what students experience on their placements, students develop competence in applying theory, methods and values to your practice; during their studies, students explore a wide range of subjects, including: law, partnership working, assessment, planning, intervention and review, human growth and development, values and diversity, social science, social policy, communication skills, mental health, disability, families and children, and European social work; students are taught by lecturers who constantly develop their own knowledge through research, publications and other academic activities, as well as by experienced service users and careers.
