Year 1: Movement studies; neuromusculoskeletal 1; cardiorespiraotry; neurosciences 1; skills for personal and professional development; and core knowledge and values for professional practice; students go on a 2-week placement in semester 1 and a 5-week placement at the end of the 1st year. Year 2: Students focus particularly on the physiotherapy management of patients with long term or complex conditions; modules include: neuromusculoskeletal 2 and advancing neuromusculoskeletal practice; neurosciences 2; complex patient care 1; research methods; and 2 5-week practice placements. Final Year: Complex patient care 2; inter-professional working in health and social care; applied research; and 3 5-week practice placements (equality and diversity; service improvement; personal and people development).
