Year 1: Students gain knowledge of interactive media/multimedia technology applications, internet technology and the media industry, including how they interrelate; in addition, students can take audio/video production subjects and explore developments in new media design and technology; through practical-based coursework, students learn how to transform their ideas into reality. Year 2: students develop further skills in television-studio video production and new media design, as well as how to use multimedia for film and broadcasting, internet and multimedia authoring development; this ensures students learn about different aspects of media, while improving their understanding of various applications. Year 3: students can specialise in a chosen area and work as part of a team for a group project; both of these let students explore their own interests and produce finished products; core and optional modules include: computer-based media production; broadcast and storage of audio/video information and/or radio/TV production.
