All the modules are designed in conjunction with the International Bar Association (IBA) which focus on transactions and cases modelled on real-life examples. You have the choice on when and how you wish to study your three modules, although the practice-focused dissertation will only be available through supervised online support.  

Face-to-face modules

For those who prefer this method of learning, we welcome you to attend three international modules alongside our full-time LLM students.

If you wish to study your modules September through to November you will take:

• Business, finance and the legal services market
• International joint ventures practice and
• International arbitration practice 

If you wish to study your modules January through to March you will take:

• International mergers and acquisitions practice (not available for LPC students who studied the Acquisitions elective)
• International competition/anti-trust law and practice and
• International intellectual property 

i-LLM supported online learning  

For those who wish to study online, over a longer period of time, you can choose from a range of modules and study through our i-LLM programme commencing in January or July. 

• Business, finance and the legal services market 
• International intellectual property practice 
• International commercial law (not available for LPC students who studied the Commercial law elective)
• International public companies practice (not available for LPC students who studied the Public companies & equity finance elective
• International capital markets and loans practice (not available for LPC students who studied the Banking & debt finance elective
• International mergers and acquisitions practice (not available for LPC students who studied the Acquisitions elective) 
• International competition/anti-trust law and practice
• International business organisations (only available for BVC/BPTC students) 
• International arbitration practice 
• International joint ventures practice
