All the modules on this programme are core; school experience is an important part of each year; level 1: Fundamental skills in physical education; growth and development in physical education; teaching and learning; introduction to maths education; introduction to Key Stage 2/3 English; introduction to core science; exploring the foundation subjects; the student spends 7 weeks in a primary school, 1 week in a secondary school; level 2: developing skills in physical education; physical education and school sport; becoming the complete teacher; developing mathematics education; developing Key Stage 2/3 English; developing core science; embedding the foundation subjects; the student spends 7 weeks in a secondary school, 1 week in a primary school; level 3: advanced skills in physical education; the Key Stage 2/3 interface; learning management; what and why? investigation; extending mathematics education; extending Key Stage 2/3 English; extending core science; the student spends 6 weeks in a primary school, 6 weeks in a secondary school.
