Liverpool Hope University, BSc (Hons), Creative Computing
Level 1: students will study the fundamentals of computing, graphics and digital animation, which provide the foundations for 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional graphics work; this will include elements of planning for digital media and design. Level 2: core areas of study are web development, the basics of 3-dimensional modelling and animation techniques, together with important skills such as project management. Level 3: during the final level, students broaden and deepen their skills and knowledge in core areas by studying, for example, a course in advanced web development techniques, and also undertaking specialist modules which could involve a particular project, such as the creation of a short 3-dimensional animated movie; this would involve elements such as pre-production and planning, as well as post-production techniques.
