Zhejiang University

Currently, ZJU is composed of five campuses: Zijingang, Yuquan, Xixi, Huajiachi, and Zhijiang Campus, all accepting international students except for the last one. Which campus an international student will study and live on is determined by the specific location of the college he or she is enrolled in.

University resources include seven affiliated hospitals and a library that houses more than 6.83 million volumes. Among the laboratory facilities at Zhejiang University are more than a dozen national key labs that focus on different specialty areas, such as the State Key Lab of Clean Energy Utilization, the State Key Lab of Rice Biology and the State Key Lab of Modern Optical Instrumentation. ZJU is equipped with advanced teaching, research and recreational facilities on its five campuses, including computing centers, sports centers and recreational centers.

Rich campus culture, advanced teaching facilities and a wide range of international exchanges create favorable conditions for students’ development. Students who study in Zhejiang University will also enjoy great environment and delicious Chinese food.

University housing is available for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Each campus provides students with accommodation, which can be single- and double bed rooms. Each room has simple beddings and furniture. Utilities include telephones, internet accesses and air-conditioners. Hot water is supplied 24 hours a day.

International student’s apartments, which are located in the Huajiachi Campus, are much cheaper than other dormitories.
