Student life

The International Student Organization (ISO) voices the concerns of international students at Guelph and also organizes events that promote diversity and multiculturalism on campus. University offers:

  • Over 150 clubs, two student newspapers, and a radio station
  • Access to over 7.5 million items through an automated library system
  • Two art galleries, a sculpture park, and five performance stages
  • 165-hectare arboretum with 6.5 kilometres of jogging and biking trails

Accommodation

First-year students applying directly from high school who have received an offer of admission are eligible to apply for residence. The application deadline is June 1, 2015. Space is limited so apply early to avoid disappointment. Residence facilities are located across from the University of Guelph-Humber building. You can choose the type of floor you want to live on such as co-ed, health and wellness or quiet study.

Career services

As an international student with a valid study permit, you are eligible to work part-time on campus. Work study is an on-campus part-time job program to assist students with financial need meet their educational costs by working part-time during the study year.
