Applicants under the age of 21 need: 2 subjects at GCE advanced level plus 3 aditional GCSE subject passes at grade C or above; or 5 passes in the Scottish certificate of education or which 3 must be a higher grade; or an NVQ/SVQ at level 3 or GNVQ at advanced level; or a BTEC national certificate/diploma or 5 subject passes in the SCOTVEC; or any equivalent; students unable to demonstrate an appropriate level of literacy and numeracy through qualifaction must go through the College screening process.
