Entry requirements

Official high school transcript. The SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT is required of all undergraduate applicants. Applicants whose first language or language of instruction is not English are required to take one of the following English language proficiency examinations: Minimum recommended score: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) – Internet-based 100 Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) – computer-based 230 International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 7.0 Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) 70. The English language proficiency examination requirement will be waived if a student has scored 33 or above on the SAT Reading Test (administered March 2016 and later), or above a 26 on the ACT English section.

Location

The Vanderbilt campus is located approximately 2.4 km southwest of downtown in the West End neighbourhood of midtown Nashville. It has an area of 1.3 km2, though this figure includes large tracts of sparsely used land in the southwest part of the main campus, as well as the Medical Centre. The historical core of campus encompasses approximately 0.3 km2.
