1st degree from a recognised institution (minimum 2.2) or international equivalent with a significant content of quantitative methods; applicants do not require prior knowledge of finance they should have an expertise in mathematics and statistics; the course is also open to those from other disciplines in which quantitative methods form a significant part; exceptionally non graduates may also be considered provided they can show evidence of extensive work experience in the field; for applicants whom English is not their mother tongue or who have not recently studied or worked in an English environment are normally required to have passed IELTS or any other recognised English language test of the same standard.
