Students take 4 compulsory modules in the 1st year in the areas of microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and quantitative analysis; they then choose 4 options from a range of modules (subject to availability) in the 2nd year to tailor the programme of study to suit their interests and career plans; those who complete the Postgraduate Diploma successfully including the topics in econometrics module are eligible to progress to the Master's that entails the completion of a dissertation which is normally submitted within 12 months of Master's registration.
