Finance is the management of money, banking, investments and credit. Finance majors gain an understanding of how to acquire, manage and invest corporate funds. They also study financial institutions, financial markets, security analysis and investments.

UT's finance program offers specific study options in corporate finance, investment management, financial institutions and financial services. There is a strong, active chapter of the Student Financial Management Association at UT.

Location

Toledo also is close to several major cities, including Chicago (4 hours west), Detroit (an hour north), Indianapolis (3.5 hours southwest) and even Toronto (5 hours northeast). Transportation is close, as well; an affordable Mega-Bus service picks up and drops off in Toledo.
