We encourage an exploratory approach, giving you a critically creative environment and a wide range of skills to begin defining your own creative practice. The course is unique in offering both specialist and diagnostic modes of study. If you’re confident about your future direction, the specialist course lets you apply to one of five curriculum areas. The diagnostic course allows you to explore a wide range of art and design disciplines as part of your preparation for BA application.

  • You’ll take part in an exhibition at the end of the course, open to the public, family and friends
  • You'll be introduced to a range of materials and methods of working to research and develop your ideas and learn how to evaluate and reflect on your progress. We’ll help you to build a portfolio and prepare you for interviews to enter higher education and employment.
