Programme will help students move into specialist posts in mental health, as well as in teaching and management; students will develop both theory and practice; during the programme students will use evidence-based approaches for psychosocial interventions for psychosis; as part of this, they will work intensively with at least 4 clients who have an enduring psychotic illness (including work with individuals and families); the programme focuses on integrated bio-psychosocial approaches to managing and treating severe mental illness; by the end of the course students will be able to demonstrate high-level skills with in-depth knowledge.
