Students can choose to spend either semester 1 or semester 2 in Sheffield; students who continue to the Master's submit a dissertation of 20,000 words, written over the summer and submitted in September; the modules available constitute an enabling framework from which students can tailor their own specialist pathways, with extensive consultation with their tutor and the programme co-ordinator.
