This course combines the study of law with the continued development of the students' existing language skills; the 3rd year is spent abroad in the law faculty of a linked German University, in preparation for which the course teaches students the legal terminology they will need and help them to develop their awareness of the German legal system; returning to Sheffield to complete their degree having gained specialist knowledge and widened graduates appeal as a lawyers.
