There are three possible entry points:
If you start your programme in September, you will take three modules from the list below, in addition to the compulsory Academic Skills module:
A more limited range of modules is available to students starting in January. Your modules will be taught through a combination of lectures, small group seminars and individual tutorials. Some science modules will also include weekly practical classes in the laboratory. In addition to time spent in the classroom or laboratory, students are expected to undertake homework and private study, which is an important part of work at degree level.
At the end of the academic year, you will be assessed and, providing your results are satisfactory, you will enter your intended degree programme or, if the department agrees, you may transfer to another programme for which your academic modules are an acceptable entry qualification.
