Entry requirements
A bachelor's degree, GPA of 3.0 or better, in engineering, biology, chemistry, physics, or another technical field from an accredited institution
Completion of calculus I, II, and III, differential equations, and engineering science (e.g. fluid mechanics, transport phenomena or thermodynamics), as well as a basic course in biology
Applicants who do not have an adequate background in engineering science will be required to take ENPM672, Fundamentals of Thermal Systems, in their first semester. In cases where credentials were earned abroad, the Graduate School admissions staff will evaluate to ensure that the applicant has the equivalent of an accredited 4 year U.S. baccalaureate degree. iBT TOEFL: Total-100, Speaking-22, Listening -24, Reading -26, Writing -24. OR IELTS: Total-7, Speaking-6.5, Listening -7, Reading -7, Writing -7. OR PTE:68.
