Year 1: Includes aerospace technology and industry; analytical techniques; electrical and materials science; mechanical science; an introduction to manufacture; an introduction to design and fluid mechanics and thermodynamics. Year 2: Aerothermodynamics and design; aircraft systems; avionics systems; dynamics; instrumentation and control systems; analytical techniques and Private Pilot’s Licence Ground School. Year 3: Work Placement year. Year 4: Aerospace performance; propulsion and design; stability and control of aircraft; aerospace systems integration; pilot studies (double module); and an individual major project. Final Year: Aeroelasticity; flight mechanics; development and aerospace systems; embedded aerospace systems; human resource management and a team project.
