This course gives students the skills and expertise you need to start a career in the dynamic and challenging tourism industry; students have the option of taking a work placement, studying a language and going on field trips, building students’ experience and giving them a head start in the job market; students gain an appreciation of the dynamic and complex nature of the industry and the challenges that face destination managers and governments; a key feature is to participate in study visits and field trips to a number of tourism destinations; this allows students to observe and comment of tourism developments, and to conduct research.
