Students learn how to analyse arguments, think your way through difficult and unfamiliar problems, and present your ideas in a logical order; the 1st year assumes no prior knowledge and introduces questions about knowledge, argument, morality and religion; the 2nd Year examines political philosophy, metaphysics, language and logic, Plato’s Republic, knowledge and discovery, philosophy of mind, philosophy and the arts, and the right and the good; the final year focuses on great thinkers, including Aristotle, Kant, Kierkegaard, Hegel and Wittgenstein.
