As a graduate of a Master of Science in Human Resource Management (HRM) you have gained academic knowledge and skills to consider and explore how HRM policies and practices can be developed and applied to ensure the availability, employability, commitment and vitality of employees needed to accomplish organisational goals. You have learned to do this by taking an evidence-based, scientific approach. In the one-year Master's degree program in HRM you follow specific HRM courses like Strategic HRM, Leadership, Work Design and Team Processes, Labour Law, and Personnel Instruments. You learn to anticipate internal and external changes that affect the management of work and people in an organisation. Therefore topics such as technological development, internationalisation of business, changing legislations, social security and labor conditions are of interest as well. You complete the program by performing research and writing a thesis.
