Entry requirements

Bachelor's degree in a programme that took at least six semesters with 180 ECTS points in a corresponding branch of study. The grade of the Bachelor cannot be worse than 3.0 of the German scale. A corresponding branch of study has to at least meet the following requirements: at least 16 ECTS in differential and integral calculus at least 16 ECTS in analytical geometry and linear algebra at least 90 ECTS in mathematics altogether; Language requirements: For applicants with very good overall Bachelor grade: English proficiency at level C1 or higher (e.g. IELTS Band 7,0) OR German proficiency at level C1 or higher (e.g. DSH-2). For applicants with good (but not very good) overall Bachelor grade: English proficiency at level C1 or higher (e.g. IELTS Band 7,0) AND German proficiency at level B1 or higher (e.g. "Goethe certificate B1"), ALTERNATIVELY Englisch proficiency at level B1 or higher (e.g. IELTS Band 4,0) AND German proficiency at level C1 or higher (e.g. DSH-2).
