Entry requirements
As entry requirements for this Master's program must be observed:
A) Bachelor's degree (min. 180 credits / Credits [C]) or equivalent degree or the time of application min. 150 credits in a bachelor's or comparable degree in geography or technically closely kindred compartment (s. Section B below).
B) relevance of previous studies
Requirement of professional relevance of previous studies is the detection of at least the following benefits:
Services in the fields of geography, geo-ecology, ecology, resource management, landscape planning or environmental science totaling at least 60 credits, including services:
in physical geography (climate, soil geography, geomorphology), or a comparable scientific discipline to the extent of at least 12 credits,
in Human Geography (cultural, social, economic geography) or a comparable social science discipline to the extent of at least 12 credits,
in Geoinformatics (GIS skills) of at least 6 credits.
Proof of German language skills (if your native language is not German), for example, DSH 2, TestDaF (at least TDN 4 in all four subtests.) The final grade or grade point average is based on the application must be at least 3.0. In a note / a grade point average of 2.5 and worse min. 3.0 is also required for further consideration in the selection process.
