On this course students develop the technical knowledge and practical skills of a range of inter-related media; they explore a number of areas, including radio and television production, broadcast technology, computing and business and develop a range of practical skills in areas that include production in radio, television and new media; students also build up a deep technical understanding of the equipment and systems they work with; students can choose to specialise in any of these areas, so they can focus on the area that interests them the most; participants are taught with students who are studying the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) media production course, so students of this course bring their technical knowledge to the production activity, and their colleagues bring their artistic and theoretical insights.
