Key areas covered in the degree include: Sustainable destination; management; marketing/e-marketing; rural tourism; quality; management and customer service; training, education and interpretation tourism; sport and event tourism; heritage management; nature, eco and adventure tourism; work placement opportunities are available at level 2, or alternatively students can take a 48-week work placement as part of the programme; students also have the opportunity to gain certification in a range of training programmes currently accredited by VisitBritain.
