Entry requirements

TOEFL IBT 90, ILETS 6,5. Only applicants with an interim average of 84% or higher are eligible to be considered for admission. Please note that the course grades used in the calculation of your average will depend on where you are currently attending secondary school and the grading scale used by your school. All grades are converted into percentage grades based on a 50% pass scale.To be admissible to Year 1 of the BCom program, you must have completed or be in the process of completing Senior Level Math.You can apply to transfer to the second year of the BCom program after your first year at UBC or another recognized post-secondary institution provided you have completed a minimum of 27 transferable credits including the following UBC core courses (or their equivalents) by the end of April: •ECON 101 – Principles of Microeconomics •ECON 102 – Principles of Macroeconomics •MATH 104 – Differential Calculus. Acceptable equivalents include MATH 100, MATH 102, MATH 110, MATH 180, MATH 184. •ENGL 112 – University Writing. Minimum grade of 60% or "C" required in English.

Location

UBC’s two main campuses are situated in Vancouver and in Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley. Also in Vancouver, UBC Robson Square is a vibrant learning centre in the heart of downtown, the UBC Learning Exchange is a community engagement initiative based in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, and UBC’s Centre for Digital Media at the Great Northern Way Campus is located in Mount Pleasant. UBC also provides clinical education to Faculty of Medicine students at 75 health care facilities across British Columbia. In addition, UBC’s Asia Pacific Regional Office in Hong Kong and a satellite office in New Delhi support alumni engagement and facilitate teaching and learning partnerships.
