The course is for graduates wishing to qualify as social workers; it runs in partnership with local agencies providing social and caring services, with users of services and with carers; 2 particular features: Emphasis on the integration of applied social science academic learning to practice; and a focus on the multi-disciplinary context of social work with opportunities for inter-professional learning with students in the areas of education, nursing, medicine, and occupational therapy; the course offers the opportunity to develop social work knowledge, skills and values in a multi-disciplinary context.
