This accelerated course enables graduates from biological sciences, behavioural sciences and other health professions to convert their 1st degree to a Master's; the course consists of 3, 15-week trimesters per year for 2 years; the similar MSc Health through Occupation enables students on both courses to share some aspects of learning; problem-based tutorials, subject specialist resource sessions and skills workshops make up the learning week for campus-based modules; study focuses on real-life situations, integrating subjects such as anatomy; physiology; pathology; therapeutic skills; behavioural sciences and research methods; the project studies module and dissertation lead to the Master's; graduates are equipped for careers in the NHS and the private health sector, both in the UK and abroad.
